As part of its mission of providing an enriched educational experience for its students, Charles River School is firmly committed to implementing the next facets of the Campus Master Plan as approved by the Board of Trustees:

  • COMPLETE - Create a contemporary gymnasium within our current Tennis Building that will enhance the athletic and physical education programs. Connected is a two-story structure with a large dining room and kitchen on the upper level and new locker rooms and physical education faculty offices on the ground floor.

  • COMPLETE - Create a community space in the Centre St. Victorian building's dining room, designated for our 7th and 8th grade students, convert Mrs. Neale's old kitchen into a math classroom and enlarge the 7th and 8th grade science (opened Jan. 2009) classroom.

  • Construct a new swimming pool for the Charles River Creative Arts Program campers for Red Cross swimming instruction and for additional use by the wider CRS community.

  • IN PROGRESS - Grow the unrestricted endowment to enable the School to continue to attract and retain talented faculty, offer necessary financial aid funds and offset operating expenses in our ongoing effort to support the CRS mission.

The following pages will give you a closer look at each facet of the plan and the many benefits it will offer our students in the near future and for years to come.
